In a big country like Sudan characterized with huge agricultural production the storage sector is considered as most important sector storage sector serves as keeping seeds and strategic from deterioration supply of commodities all over the year to consumers and finally stabilization of prices of strategic commodities .

Importance of Storage : -

- Enables the country to have strategic food to grantee its right to take decisions and avoiding being subject to foreign pressure.

- Perfect storage enables the country to obtain good prices for its export in world markets.

- A recent study by the secretariat of council of ministers in 1994 showed the side effects of instability of Sudan export due to fluctuation of production from season to another leading Sudan to loose establishment of strategic storage to secure local consumption and regular flow of export .
